SMOKEY BEAR Prevention Materials at Work

MEET CARL ... 
a Champion for WildFire Prevention and Smokey Bear fan

Not quite 4 years old, Carl is one busy and active little guy.

Carl's grandmother, an avid Smokey Bear fan herself, contacted the Massachusetts DCR Bureau of Forest Fire Control to let us know just what Carl was doing with the Smokey Bear Prevention materials he recently received. 


Carl ....

• loves playing with Smokey Bear's whiz ring 

• goes into 'Wildfire Prevention' and 'Law Enforcement' mode once he dons his Smokey Bear campaign hat

• used his new Smokey Bear pencil to 'ticket' his grandma for starting a fire

• and apparently, because it took him a long long time to put out the fire  ...  his prevention message to his grandmother included a warning about behaving in a bad, irresponsible way and that could get her in big terrible trouble

• ... we are told that Carl has a fondness for Smokey's whistle and likes to blow it nonstop for long periods of time ... we can just imagine what any fire troublemakers will be subject to once Carl finds a use for the rest of the prevention items he finds in his Smokey Bear bag of goods.
